Eat and not-so-much running

I was supposed to have run a half-marathon today, but snow stopped play!  The event was postponed til June, so the training will continue.  I did a speed session on a treadmill in a gym [a new venture for me – I love the speedometer!], and then read some more of Scott Jurek’s book about his running story.  It’s a great book, not least because he includes recipes.  I tried out the first recipe – making little sushi rolls.  I’ve never compiled them before and it was fun – it will take a lot more practice to get them all the same size and shape!  I also made some lentil soup with potato and spinach – yummy, warm and filling on this cold day 🙂
