Some more yummy, easy-to-make energy bites.
100g flaked almonds + 25 g chia seeds, plus 250g deglet nour dates, plus 1 tsp of ground almonds, plus 1 tablespoon of apple puree and 1 tsp of almond essence. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor, then roll into balls and coat with ground almonds.
Refrigerate and then try not to eat them all at once!
The teaspoon of almond essence really gives them a marzipan flavour. They are nice and soft as they are, but if you wanted to add a bit of crunch to them, you could roll them in chopped nuts.
