Thought I would try something new! I had gone into the local health shop to stock up on sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds, and came across these little ones that I had never heard of ! Hemp seeds! And it turns out that they are super foods! They are the most balanced, natural and complete source of protein, amino acids and essential fats found in nature. Wow! They have a lovely aftertaste of hazelnuts.
So today’s salad has in it spinach leaves, shredded sweetheart cabbage, lettuce, sliced radishes, chopped raw brussel sprouts, halved cherry tomatoes, grated carrot and a sprinkling of chia seeds, sunflower seeds and quite a good amount of hemp seeds. The baked sweet potato is almost ready – so off for tea I go!
